How many players are allowed on a team?

Each team is allowed 4 players per event.

What is the minimum age to participate?

You must be 21 years old by the event date to participate.

Will there be official fiba referees onsite?

Yes, there will be at least 1 certified fiba 3x3 referee to supervise and assist with our local referee contractors hired to ensure the professionalism is up to date with fiba 3x3 rules of game play with making the right calls.

I am in college but do not play sports and do not plan on playing sports, can I win/take the prize money?

Yes, but you are responsible for your own eligibility. Please read the rules and note you are responsible for your own eligibility.

what is the official tournament ball we will play?

I participate on a collegiate athletics program; can I play and not affect my eligibility?

Yes, according to NCAA Division 1 Bylaw 16.8.1.2-C you may participate. However, you are responsible for your own eligibility including understanding the rules for taking or declining prize money. We recommend confirming with your coach or NCAA contact prior to registering. You may read the complete NCAA Division 1 Manual here.

I play basketball in college, can I play and not affect my eligibility?

I already registered, but our team cannot play anymore. Can we get a refund after deadline?

Unfortunately, no. All registrations are non-refundable if you do not participate in the event.

How do I confirm if I am registered?

Each team captain will receive a confirmation email once the team has been approved for registration.

How do I confirm if I have a FIBA profile?

Once, you create your FIBA profile you should receive an email to confirm from FIBA.

Can I confirm my teammates’ FIBA profile status?

If you are a team captain and know the email address your teammate(s) used to create their FIBA profile, please enter that during the registration process.

One of my team members can’t play anymore, what do I do?

You are responsible for having a complete roster (4 people) at the event you are registered for. You can change out players on your team the week prior to tournament day. The new player must have a confirmed FIBA profile. For additional questions please contact us on our Instagram dm.

How do we find out when and where our games are?

Once your team has completed registration your team captain will receive an email with the time and location of the event.

What time do I need to show up for the event I am registered for?

All players need to be on-site and checked in at least an hour before tip-off of their division start time (men’s division). Teams may not replace, change, or add players on their roster within an event day. check-in details and game schedule will be provided to your captain email on tournament week.

What are the rules of the game?

We play by the FIBA 3x3 Rules. Quick rules to note are:

  • 1 Hoop, 1 Half Court, 2 teams of 3 + 1 sub

  • 10-minute game

  • 12-second shot-clock

  • No break after scoring

  • Game over at 21 pts

  • First to 2 pts wins OT

Are there prizes?

Each individual event:

1st place: $12,000 + Winner medals

2nd place: $600

3rd place: $400

You are responsible for taxes. Please read complete rules here

All prize checks will be split evenly amongst team members and mailed within 5-7 business days after the conclusion of each event. Checks will not be given out at the event.

Will you have water, or food on site?

Yes. we will have water, and lunch (for participating athletes), and concession will be available spectators.

Will you have trainers on site?

Yes, there will be at least 1 trainers on site at each event available to stretch, ice, or tape participating athletes.

Can my family come and watch?

Yes! we will be limited on seating since both side bleachers will be closed off due to utilizing two courts.
